Bed and breakfast is named as best

The 10-room Mansion Hill Inn in Madison, Wis., has been named the best bed-and-breakfast inn of 1991 in the annual Hideaways of the Year awards from Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report.

The awards are given to "small, personalized hotels," according to Andrew Harper, editor and publisher of the newsletter.

Other winners in the United States are Hawaii's Lodge at Koele on the island of Lanai and Robert Redford's Sundance resort in Utah. Other winners are in Europe, Canada and the South Pacific.
