Kingdom of Bhutan privatizes its national travel industry

The tiny kingdom of Bhutan, which lies between India and Tibet in the Himalayas, has privatized its travel industry. Private travel companies now handle all travel arrangements, while the Tourist Authority of Bhutan authorizes visas.
