Salisbury State University student Allison Akers, 20, daughter of Kenneth and Mina Akers of Crofton, was recently inducted into the Rho Eta chapter of Kappa Delta Pi honor society.
A 1989 graduate of Arundel High School, she is a junior majoring in elementary education atSSU.
Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society for prospective and active teachers. Undergraduates must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better and demonstrate leadership ability.
