Two robbers with weapons who stole and then discarded two jackets were captured after getting trapped in rose bushes, police said.

Theincident began about 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Jumpers 7 Cinemas in Pasadena, when two teen-age boys were approached by two men who displayed a handgun and demanded their jackets, police said. The victims then gave up their jackets. The suspects fled but were apprehended when they became trapped in rose bushes along the B&A Hiker-Biker Trail, police said.

Charged with armed robbery were: Antonio D'nard Barnes, 18, of the 2900 block of Second Army Drive, FortMeade; and Charles Cornelius Smith, 19, of the 500 block of Rita Drive, Odenton.
