Eli C. Henry Jr.

Eli C. Henry Jr., chairman of the business department at the Dulaney High School, was killed Sunday in an automobile accident while on a deer-hunting trip near Coudersport in northern Pennsylvania. Services were being held today at the Stewartstown (Pa.) United Methodist Church.

Mr. Henry was 51 and lived in Stewartstown.

Besides chairing the business department, he was an assistant football coach and principal of the adult education program at Dulaney.

He taught at Dulaney for more than 25 years and briefly before that at Overlea High School.

Born in Stewartstown, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University and did graduate work there, at the University of Maryland and at Towson State University.

A former director of Phi Mu Delta fraternity, he also was a former

president and ambulance captain of the Eureka Volunteer Fire Company and Ambulance Club and was active as a leader in youth programs at the Stewartstown United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Linda L. Hunt; a son, Shannon Henry; two daughters, Gretchen and Kristin Henry; his mother, Ruth B. Henry; and a brother, Dale W. Henry. All are of Stewartstown.
