Suspension Postponed

December 15, 1991

The county liquor board has postponed suspending the liquor license at the Tollgate Inn in Silver Run so the owners don't have to be closed during the holiday season.

On Dec. 3, the board ruled that owner Robert E. Forsythe Jr. was guilty of purchasing alcoholic beveragesfrom a person other than a licensed manufacturer or wholesaler.

Forsythe and co-owner Allen A. Younger were ordered to pay a $1,000 fine by Dec. 23, and their liquor license was suspended from Dec. 9 to 23.

After a request from the owners, the board agreed to suspend the license from Jan. 6 to 21.
