CHURCH BURGLARY: Western District -- Members of the New Testament Baptist Church in the 2300 block of N. Fulton Ave. said someone broke into their building through a kitchen window between Sunday and Wednesday. It was not immediately known if any property was taken.

THEFT: Western District -- Gloria Pratt, of the 900 block of N. Mount St., reported that a man she knows entered her home over the weekend and stole several hundred dollars. Police said Pratt was advised to seek a warrant for his arrest.

THEFT: Western District -- Someone reportedly entered a dwelling in the 2700 block of Harlem Ave. Wednesday and stole a microwave oven and other items valued at nearly $700. The victim, Dorothy Scott, told police she suspects a man she knows of taking the property.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Emma Erazyck, of the 700 block of N. Carey St., told police she was walking in the 700 block of N. Calhoun St. around 2 p.m. yesterday when two men, one wearing a red jacket, stole her purse containing cash and property valued at more than $180.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Property valued at nearly $1,400 was reported stolen from a dwelling in the 1000 block of Edmondson Ave. yesterday morning after someone broke in. Police said the burglar escaped with three TVs, two radios and a VCR.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 4500 block of Winslow Road reported that someone broke into his home by opening a basement window and stole a VCR valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Usngthi Aiken, of the 5300 block of Craig Ave., told police she was walking in the 5600 block of York Road when a man came up behind her, knocked her to the ground and stole her purse, which contained cash and property valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Northern District -- Three parking meters valued at nearly $200 each were reported stolen from two locations over a period of several days. Police said two meters were removed from the 5200 block of Roland Ave. and the third from its post in the 3600 block of Roland Ave. Police said the thefts occurred between Nov. 27 and yesterday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Travis Roberts, of the 900 block of Belgian Ave., reported that someone entered his home between Dec. 6 and yesterday and stole property valued at nearly $800.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of E. 28th St. reported that someone broke into her home through the front door yesterday and stole property valued at $2,000.

THEFT: Northern District -- Joshua Saliman, of the 3200 block of N. Charles St., told police someone cut a security chain while his bike was parked on the campus at Johns Hopkins University in the 3200 block of N. Charles St. and stole the bike. Saliman said the bike was worth $400.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said two bicycles, valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen when someone broke into a garage in the rear of a home in the 2400 block of Kenoak Road.

THEFT: Northern District -- Matthew Cassidy, of the 2800 block of N. Calvert St., said that while his car was parked in the 4400 block of Millbrook Road Wednesday someone broke one of its windows and stole a leather jacket and other items, all valued at $600.

THEFT: Northern District -- Beth Albertelli, a resident of Pennsylvania, said her Ford sedan was parked in the 200 block of Winston Ave. yesterday when someone broke a window and stole a brown leather bomber-style jacket valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone reportedly broke into a dwelling in the 1300 block of W. Northern Parkway yesterday and stole an AM-FM radio, several pieces of costume jewelry and 15 stuffed animals, all valued at nearly $500.

THEFT: Northern District -- David Morgan, of the 4400 block of Newport Ave., said his truck was parked near his home yesterday afternoon when someone broke into the vehicle through a window and stole tools valued at nearly $1,500, including drills and pipe benders.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Kenneth Clark, of the 4100 block of St. George's Road, reported he was in the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave. last evening when he was stopped by two men who stole the $250 NBA jacket he was wearing. Clark told police the jacket bears the NBA logo and has a basketball player dribbling a ball emblazoned on the back.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- Yvette Thomas, of the 1600 block of W. North Ave., reported that her boyfriend struck her with a broomstick several times in the 1000 block of Providence Road. Police said Thomas was not seriously injured and the man was being sought.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of Beech Ave. reported that someone broke into her home yesterday by forcing a basement window and stole a microwave oven valued at more than $200.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said a VCR valued at nearly $200 was stolen from a dwelling in the 4900 block of Lanier Ave. after someone broke in through the front door.
