Envision Enterprises of Columbia has introduced two programs specializing in personal writing and corporate communications.

"Phrase Master" is targeted for the business community and offers services in the areas of public relations, copy writing, research and professionalwriting.

"The Modern Scribe" focuses on personal writing. Patrons have theopportunity to have their concepts created by a professional writer when sending messages, such as greeting cards, for special occasions.Resumes, SF-171s and cover letter production are also offered.

The Howard County Employment and Training Office at10650 Hickory Ridge Road in Columbia is available to assist employers with filling their open jobs.

ETC is working with individuals seeking employment ranging from hourly paid to executive level position. The service is free. Information: 313-7300.


Feldman's Pharmacies in Howard County has announced the installationof the Pharmacy Information Center, or PIC, in their Long Reach location.

PIC allows patients to receive pharmacy, health and nutritional information from a touch-screen computer.

The information in the computer is updated to include current medical information. Customers will be able to print hard-copy information on topics offered in the system.


Little Caesars will open its fourth Howard County pizza carry-out in Ellicott City at the Village Green Shopping Center, Thursday, Dec. 12.

The store is one of five owned locally by John Nell Murray. It will be managed by Michael J. Coombs.


Land Design & Development, Inc., a Columbia-based real estate development firm, has announced the previewopening of The Custom Collection at Turf Valley Overlook, 100 residential homesites overlooking the golf course.

The Custom Collectionat Turf Valley Overlook is the last phase of a residential communitybegun in 1986 and now has more than 288 homes.


All American Video Productions, a Laurel-based division of Video Data Services, has been awarded a contract to produce a video of Arlington National Cemetery for national distribution.

The video will include footage of the Desert Storm Memorial Service that took place June 8, along with still photographs from the Civil War, Korean War and Vietnam War.
