ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested one man and were seeking another in connection with the robbery Wednesday night of Robert Johnson, of the 4500 block of Clareway, and Deon Stokes, of the 5800 block of Flannery Lane, as they walked in the 1800 block of W. Saratoga St. Police said two men, one armed with a .22-caliber handgun, accosted Johnson and Stokes around 8:30 p.m. and robbed them of cash that totaled more than $100. When Officer Sean White arrived on the scene, he spoted two men running away and gave chase. A short distance away, White and Officer Scott Pumphrey chased down a suspect and were struggling with him when the man placed a handgun in his waistband. Police said that during the struggle to get the gun, the weapon discharged and struck the suspect in the left heel. White and Pumphrey arrested the man, identified as Curt Hamilton, 23, of the 2500 block of Ashland Ave., and charged him with armed robbery and possession of a deadly weapon. Following his release from Bon Secours Hospital, Hamilton was returned to the station and was being held there today in lieu of $10,000 bail.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Glenda Harris, of the 1700 block of N. Payson St., reported she was in the 1900 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday night when she was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who demanded her money. Police said the gunman robbed Harris of $72 in cash and a jar of hair relaxer.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Eutaw Place told police that someone forced open her front door and stole stereo equipment and a 20-inch TV. Police said the property was valued at nearly $700.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Denise Thornton, of the 1000 block of Brantley Ave., told police she was robbed of nearly $200 in cash and a $10 purse when she was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, as she walked in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday night.

THEFT: Western District -- Corey Davis, of the first block of Lycette Circle in eastern Baltimore County, reported that while his 1990 Oldsmobile was parked in the 700 block of N. Calhoun St. Wednesday night someone broke into the vehicle and stole two pairs of eyeglasses, a wallet, 20 cassette tapes, a stuffed Pink Panther and other items. Police said the property was valued at more than $900.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported that Dorean Davis, of the 1100 block of W. Lafayette Ave., was in the 1400 block of Presstman St. Wednesday night when she was assaulted by a man who knocked her to the ground and robbed her of two gold and diamond rings. Police said Davis was later taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained when she was knocked down. The value of the jewelry, police said, was not immediately known.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Mac Norman, of the 1000 block of Hunter St., reported he was walking in the 800 block of N. Mount St. early yesterday morning when he was assaulted by two men who shoved him into an alley and robbed him of $115 in cash and a money order made out for $120. Later, police acting on information provided by Norman arrested a suspect and charged him with robbery. Police said Terron Bell, 25, of the 800 block of N. Gilmor St., was held overnight at the station in lieu of $5,000 bail after appearing before a District Court bail commissioner. Police said the second man escaped.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Riggs Ave. reported that someone forced a rear door, entered her home and stole a VCR. Police said the value of the property was not known.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Gordon Barlow, of the 3700 block of McDowell Lane in Baltimore Highlands, told police he was robbed of nearly $100 in cash shortly before 11 a.m. yesterday by two men, one armed with a handgun, who accosted him as he walked in the 600 block of N. Carey St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that $50 in assorted coins was stolen from a home in the 2500 block of W. Fayette St. yesterday after someone forced the rear door.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Anthony Salley, of the 5400 block of Daywalt Ave., reported he was talking on a telephone outside a 7-Eleven store in the 2900 block of Harford Road around 5 a.m. yesterday when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun who demanded his money. Police said Salley complied and that the gunman escaped with nearly $200 in cash.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Vincent Slattery, of the 3200 block of Ramona Ave., told police that someone entered onto the front porch of his home and stole wicker furniture valued at $200.
