FEMINIST attorney Sarah Weddington and conservative activist Phyllis Schlafly will debate issues surrounding abortion next Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the University of Baltimore.
The debate will be held in the Langsdale Library auditorium at Maryland Avenue and Oliver Street.
Schlafly is known for her campaign against the Equal Rights Amendment and her conservative stance on constitutional issues.
Weddington successfully defended "Jane Roe" before the U.S. Supreme Court in the landmark Roe v. Wade case.
