Marietta rally burns Frostburg

FROSTBURG -- Marietta College (3-0) took its first lead, 45-44, with just under eight minutes to play and held off Frostburg State (1-2), 55-50, last night. The home team had a 30-23 halftime lead, then squandered it with 27.5 percent shooting in the last 20 minutes. Lisa Wagner had 22 points and 13 rebounds for Marietta, and Stacie Smith had 13 points for Frostburg State.
