34-year-old Charged With Sodomizing Boy

A Baltimore man was charged Friday night with sodomizing a 16-year-old mentally retarded bus boy who worked with him at a Glen Burnie restaurant.

Police refused to identify the restaurant and provided few details of the alleged assault.

Douglas Frier Jr., 34, of the 3900 block Twin Circle Way, was charged with a second-degree sexual offense and sodomy.

Police said the man, who works as a dishwasher at the restaurant, assaulted the boy Nov. 13 after work. He was arrested by Northern District officers at the restaurant.

WORKERS PUT IN COOLER IN RESTAURANT HEIST

Two men forced the employees of a Glen Burnie restaurant into the cooler before escaping with the cash from the safe early yesterday morning.

County police said the robbers, one armed with an automatic handgun,walked into Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway at about 12:15 a.m.

After taking money, the men forced the employees into the walk-in cooler.

Police described the first robber as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing stone-washed jeans, a jacket and an Orioles hat. He was armed with a chrome automatic handgun.

The second robber is described as black, also in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing black jogging pants and a red sweat shirt.

to arrest at Pasadena tavern

A 27-year-old Pasadena man was arrested Friday evening and charged with selling cocaine inside the Panama Janes Bar on Fort Smallwood Road.

Frank Joseph Wyrobek Jr., of the 8400 block Garden Road, was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

Police said they confiscated 3 1/2 grams of cocaine, $765 and a 1987 Toyota.

GAS STATION ROBBED BY MAN WITH REVOLVER

A man carrying a .38-caliber revolver held up a gas station near Fort Meade Saturday morning and escaped with an undetermined amount of money.

Police said the man entered the service station, threatened the attendant with a silver four-inch revolver and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build and a mustache. He was wearing blue jeans and gray parka coat.
