After 43 losses, Kings finally rule on the road, 95-93

November 24, 1991

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Sacramento Kings ended the NBA's longest road losing streak at 43 games, getting 27 points from Lionel Simmons in a 95-93 victory last night over the Orlando Magic.

The Kings' last road victory came Nov. 20, 1990, at Washington. The league's longest road drought now belongs to Denver at 24 games.

Mitch Richmond added 20 points for Sacramento. Dennis Scott led Orlando with 25 points.

Orlando failed on its last two possessions to take a shot. Anderson and Scott committed turnovers instead of taking a possible game-tying shot.
