* OUTLOOK: The Skipjacks (10-6-1) are still in first place in the Southern Division, two points ahead of Binghamton and Hershey (7-8-5). The Jacks play four in a row and five of their next six on the road. John Purves (11-13--24), Simon Wheeldon (9-13--22) and Brent Hughes (10-10--20) lead the Jacks in scoring. The Islanders (10-3-6) have the AHL's best record and lead the Northern Division by four points over Springfield. Phil Huber (12-11--23) and Greg Parks (8-10--18) lead the attack. Despite its fine season, Capital District has the worst attendance (1,987 average) in the league.
