Capitals preview

VS. NEW JERSEY DEVILS

* WHEN: Tonight, 7:35.

* WHERE: Meadowlands Arena.

* RADIO: WCAO-AM 600.

* OUTLOOK: The Capitals (15-4) seem invincible lately, winning four in a row and seven of their last eight en route to the NHL's best record. In stark contrast to their inept offensive ways of recent years, they actually lead the league in scoring with 96 goals. The Devils (11-9), who are in third place in the Patrick Division, haven't had much luck thus far against the Caps, dropping the first two games of the series, 6-5 and 4-1. The Caps' only injury thus far has been Rod Langway's broken nose, but he should play tonight after sitting out Friday's win over Pittsburgh. The team returns home Friday against Boston and travels to Hartford Saturday.
