Rev. R.L. Ledbetter

The Rev. Richard L. Ledbetter, retired pastor of Colonial Baptist Church, died Sunday at Fallston General Hospital of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. He was 75 and lived in Street.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Sue Mae Slade; three daughters, Julia Mae Horton of Lewisville, N.C., Arleta Kerr of Tallahassee, Fla., and Wanda Berman of Adamstown, Pa.; a son, the Rev. Richard Ames-Ledbetter of Baltimore; two sisters, Ruth Brown of Havre de Grace and Joyce Lubbers of Warrenton, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial contributions to the Baptist Family and Children's Services of Maryland or to the First Baptist Church of Dundalk Memorial Fund.
