PG&E-Bechtel Generating Co. in Bethesda changed its name to U.S. Generating Company. The firm is a partnership of Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and Bechtel Group Inc.

Logistics Management Corp., a provider of operational consulting services, relocated from Harleysville, Pa., to The Generals Building, 2086 Generals Highway, Annapolis.

Kudos

Lianne Thomas won a Top Marketing Directors Award from the Practice Development Institute. Ms. Thomas is marketing director for Katz, Abosch, Windesheim, Gershman & Freedmann, Baltimore-based accounting and management/consulting firm.

Omni Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore was named Cooperative Education Employer of the Year by Essex Community College Cooperative Education Advisory Board.

University of Baltimore Alumni Association honored the following for their professional achievements and contributions to the community and the university: Delegate Curtis S. Anderson, D-Baltimore; William E. Johnson, director of employment for Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.; and Shirley E. Marcus, deputy director of the Child Welfare League.

Stephen H. Henderson was named National Retailer of the Month by The Beverage Journal. Mr. Henderson is director of food and beverage services for the Omni Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore.
