Couple Charged With Drug Possession

Two Brooklyn Park residents were charged with possession of cocaine after police say they found $2,100 worth of the drug in their home Thursday.

County police narcotics officers served a search warrant on a home in the 4300 block of 6th Street and confiscated three-quarters of an ounce of cocaine that was packaged for distribution, police said. Investigators also seized a small amount of marijuana.

David Brian Wolf, 36, of the 4300 block of 6th Street, also was charged with possession of marijuana and distributing cocaine. Sandra Alene Parr, 30, of the same address, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance.

Police also searched Wolf's parents' home on Bar Harbor Road and seized a small amount of cocaine from the garage. His parents were not charged.

MAN ACCOSTS BOYS LEAVING GRADE SCHOOL

An8-year-old boy told police that a man tried to coax him and a friendinto his pickup truck as they were walking home from school Tuesday.

According to the police report, the boys left Richard Henry Lee Elementary at about 3 p.m. with a friend. The boys were walking north on A Street when a gray pickup truck pulled up and the driver asked them if they wanted a ride.

The boys ran and the truck turned on Third Avenue. The boys saw the truck again in the alley between Third and Fourth Avenue. The man stopped again and asked the boys again if they wanted a ride.

The boys described the truck as a Dodge with a gray and red stripe down the side. The driver was described as an older white man with gray hair, wearing a baseball hat and blue jeans.
