A group of Anne Arundel County high school and college dropouts or student at risk of dropping out will benefit from a $24,000 state grant recently awarded to Anne Arundel Community College.
The college relies on community-based organizations for helpin identifying 30 youths between the ages of 16 and 21 and enrolling them in a program that encourages participants to continue their education, apply for interships and eventually land jobs.
The program aims to have 80 percent of the group enrolled in courses by June 30,1992.
The college is seeking help in identifying youths who would quality. The office, in Room 122 of the Student Services Center at the college, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
