Bon Secours completes project

November 17, 1991

Bon Secours Hospital has finished construction of a 101-unit housing complex for the low-income elderly -- a project planned three years ago in response to a church's plea for help in housing the poor.

Half of the apartments have been rented in the Bon Secours Benet House, at 400 Millington Ave. in West Baltimore, but management is still conducting interviews for tenants. Edie Froix, the manager, said she expects the project to be fully occupied by the end of December.

"The Bons Secours Benet House is a symbol of our continued efforts to help provide the elderly with a more comfortable and rewarding quality of life," said James O. Dague, the hospital's chief executive officer.
