The Sun plans a series of articles on the 50th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. We are looking for Marylanders who have recollections of the time -- not only Dec. 7, 1941, but what life was like here at home in the week leading up to the United States' entry into World War II.
If you have special memories of that period -- you got married, worked in a defense plant, knitted garments for British war relief, scored the winning basket for your high school team, enlisted in the armed forces after Pearl Harbor or survived the attack itself -- we are interested in hearing from you on SUNDIAL between now and Wednesday. We would also like to know about any letters or memorabilia you saved from that particular week.
