Skipjacks preview

* WHEN: Tonight (7:30) and tomorrow (1 p.m.).

* WHERE: Baltimore Arena.

* RADIO: Tonight, WITH-AM 1230; tomorrow, WYST-AM 1010.

* OUTLOOK: The Skipjacks (9-5-1) will probably be disappointed if they don't earn a sweep and four points this weekend against the AHL's worst team. New Haven (4-12) has scored just 48 goals while surrendering 73 in the first 16 games. The Jacks, in first place in the Southern Division, are still winning with the success of the scoring line of John Purves (11 goals, 12 assists), Simon Wheeldon (8-11--19) and Craig Duncanson (9-9--18). The line has accounted for 16 power-play goals in 15 games, and Purves is riding an eight-game point streak. Yesterday, Jeff Greenlaw was sent down from Washington and Jiri Vykoukal was called up from Hampton Roads. Bobby Reynolds (knee) is out of the lineup.
