Gibbons' Quintin Moody picks Towson State

November 13, 1991

Cardinal Gibbons' Quintin Moody, selected by Street and Smith's as one of the area's top five players in its 1991-92 basketball preview, yesterday said he would align himself with Towson State during the early signing period, which begins today and runs through Nov. 20.

Moody has scored the minimum 700 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test, which is required for freshman eligibility.

"I feel I can do a lot for them and they can do a lot for me," said Moody. "I'm not above their level [of competition] and I'm not below it."
