RICHFIELD, Ohio -- Mark Price, playing for the first time in nearly a year, hit his first three shots and inspired two critical surges as Cleveland won its home opener.

Price missed most of last season and the first five games this season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee sustained last Nov. 30. He was activated for last night's game several weeks ahead of doctors' original expectations, and had 11 points and four assists in 15 minutes.

Brad Daugherty scored 25 points and Craig Ehlo scored 22, including four 3-pointers, helping Cleveland build a 26-point second-half lead. The Bucks hit five 3-point shots in the final three minutes to whittle the margin to six at the end.

Price scored the first three points of an 11-0 run in the first quarter that put the Cavaliers ahead for good at 21-12.

They led 53-40 at the half, then scored the first eight points of the third quarter for a 61-40 advantage. Price keyed the surge with a 15-foot jumper, two free throws, a steal and an assist that gave Ehlo a fast-break dunk.

Milwaukee never threatened seriously again, although the run of 3-pointers at the end got them close.
