The top two officers of the KMS Group, a wholly owned real estate subsidiary of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. and one of the largest developers in the Baltimore area, have resigned to devote full time to their interests in minor-league baseball.
Wilbur E. "Pete" Simmons, the chairman of KMS, and Peter Kirk, president and chief executive officer, resigned Oct. 31. KMS' new president and chief operating officer is Richard O'Connell, who has been executive vice president of KMS.
