Services for Katherine L. Thomas of Annapolis will take place at 10 a.m. today at Singleton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at BaltimoreNational Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas, 77, died Nov. 7 at North Arundel Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A Baltimore native, Mrs. Thomas retired in 1972 after 15 years asa waitress for Westinghouse Corp. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Thomas Jr., and son, Eugene A. Thomas.
She is survived by her four brothers, five sisters, and four grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial for Katherine Ethel Phillips of Annapolis will take place at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Phillips, 69, died at home Nov. 11 of cancer.
Born and raised in Baltimore, she attended St. Benedict's School and worked as a buyer for Westinghouse Electric Corp. and CGR Medical Corp. for 39 years. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Ladies' Auxiliary in Annapolis.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of 16 years, Glenn M. Phillips; four daughters, Judy Stivers of Annapolis, Deborah Webb of Arnold, Joy Zick of Arnold, and Cathy Cox of Severna Park; and nine grandchildren.
