Caps night for service personnel Upcoming

The Washington Capitals and the Kuwait Embassy will sponsor a special night Dec. 17 at the Capital Centre for the families of men and women who served in the Persian Gulf war.

Capitals vice president of marketing Lew Strudler announcethat Shaikh Saud Nasir Al-Sabah, ambassador for the state of Kuwait, will donate 1,000 tickets for that night's Capitals-Quebec Nordiques game to the USO for distribution.

Also Washington Capitals sponsors, Rockwell InternationalMantech, Toyota and Giant Food, will be donating tickets to the USO and to military bases in the Washington area for distribution to families of men and women who served in the Persian Gulf.
