Roland Park, Friends gains AIS A final Field hockey

Melissa Bristow, Peggy Boutillier and Brent McCallister scored a goal each yesterday, as Roland Park defeated Garrison Forest, 3-1, in a shootout to advance to the A division championship of the Association of Independent Schools field hockey tournament.

Eliza Shoemaker scored the shootout goal for Garrison Forest (8-2-3).

Roland Park (7-3-3) will meet Friends in the A conference championship tomorrow at St. Paul's School at 2 p.m.

Carmina Valle's goal gave Friends a 1-0 shootout victory over Bryn Mawr in yesterday's other A division semifinal.

In yesterday's B division semifinals, Jayme Gilden scored with 21 minutes, 39 seconds left in the game to lead Park (7-2-4) to a 1-0 victory over Seton Keough. Park will play the Oldfields-John Carroll winner tomorrow at noon for the B conference championship.
