Despite Pulis' 22 Saves, Cavs Lose To Centennial

South Carroll freshman goalie Kendra Pulis kept the Cavaliers in thegame with 22 saves, but top-ranked Centennial (14-0) kept its perfect record intact and won the Class 3A/4A Region IV girls soccer championship Friday with a 2-0 victory.

Another county team, North Carroll, was hoping to earn a state title berth last night (after press time), while Francis Scott Key's boys were knocked out of tournament play Wednesday afternoon.
