The musical 'Wicked Ways' to open Tuesday at Lyric

"Wicked Ways" -- a gospel musical about a young man who attempts to forsake his churchgoing upbringing for the fast life of drug dealing -- comes to the Lyric Opera House beginning Tuesday. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, with matinees at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $13.50 to $23.50.

Heading the cast are Regina King the ABC's "227" and Keith Staten, of the gospel group Commissioned. Information: 481-6000. Kinetics Dance Company, the resident professional company the Howard County Center for the Arts, will perform Saturday at 8 p.m. and next Sunday at 3 p.m. in the arts center, 8510 !! Highfield Road in Ellicott City. Featured will be premieres by Artistic Director Alvin Mayes and Boston choreographer Patricia Krauss, along with repertory works by Mr. Mayes and Sharon Wyrrick. The apprentice company will also perform. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens. Call 461-9907 for reservations. Bugs Bunny will join his life-size Looney Tunes pals in a multimedia musical presentation Saturday and next Sunday at the Baltimore Arena. Titled "Menace from Mars," the show features Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig and others in a story with an environmental theme. Showtimes are 1 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. next Sunday. Tickets are $10 and available by calling 481-6000. For further information, call 347-2010.
