Recession over?

It's your call

November 01, 1991

Nearly 87 percent of callers to SUNDIAL say the economic recession is not over. Out of 480 callers, 416 registered that opinion, while 64, or 13 percent, said otherwise.

In responses from 477 callers, 327 (68.7 percent) said the economy has gotten worse in the last six months; 103 (21.5 percent) said the economy was unchanged; and 47 (9.8 percent) said it has gotten better.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
