Exhibition tickets not for sale yet

October 30, 1991|By Vito Stellino

Herbert J. Belgrad, chairman of the Maryland Stadium Authority, isn't ready yet to start selling tickets to the NFL exhibition game he's planning for August, but he has a message for the fans who want to buy those tickets.

Belgrad -- who said he has been deluged with requests for tickets since it was revealed Saturday that the Dolphins will play the Saints at Memorial Stadium -- said yesterday that fans who want to reserve tickets should send a postcard with the number of tickets requested to the Greater Baltimore Committee, Legg-Mason Building, 111 S. Calvert St., Baltimore, Md., 21202.

When tickets go on sale, the fans who sent in postcards will get first priority. Belgrad said no money should be sent at this time.
