Cincinnati Reds -- Announced they will not exercise the option on OF-1B Carmelo Martinez and will not offer arbitration to P Ted Power. Promoted bullpen coach Larry Rothschild to pitching coach. Rehired dugout coach Jackie Moore, hitting and first-base coach Tony Perez and third-base coach Sam Perlozzo.

Montreal Expos -- Exercised the option on IF Tom Foley for 1992.

New York Yankees -- Waived P Chuck Cary for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release.

Toronto Blue Jays -- Announced they will not exercise the option on OF Mookie Wilson. Released OF Cory Snyder outright. Assigned P Nate Cromwell outright to Class AAA Syracuse. Reinstated P Dave Stieb, P Ken Dayley and P Al Leiter from the 60-day disabled list. Announced they will not offer arbitration to DH Dave Parker. Retained pitching coach Galen Cisco, bullpen coach John Sullivan, third-base coach Rich Hacker and bench coach Gene Tenace for 1992. Reassigned coach Hector Torres to the minor-league system. Announced 1B coach Mike Squires will not be retained.


Houston Rockets -- Waived G Gerald Henderson and G Trent Jackson.

Los Angeles Clippers -- Waived G Rory Sparrow, G Marvin Andrews and G Clinton Smith.


Miami Dolphins -- Waived WR James Pruitt, RB Brent Fullwood from the physically-unable-to-perform list and OT Ernie Rogers from the practice squad. Recalled WR Fred Banks from waivers.
