It's a regular triple threat controversy, sports fans. Duckpin bowlers are striking up a petition drive to have their game become the official state sport, a designation currently given to jousting. Jousters, of course, are falling off their horses in protest. And there's another sticking point: Lacrosse enthusiasts (who mounted an unsuccessful campaign in the legislature a few years back to have their sport honored as Maryland's state game) don't want to be forgotten, either.
So, as they say on the television commercials, you make the call. Which of these three games do you think should be Maryland's official sport?
