Term limits

It's your call

October 28, 1991

Members of both houses of Congress should have limits on their terms of office, according to more than 80 percent of callers to SUNDIAL. For the Senate, 561 out of 674 callers (83 percent) said members should be restricted by term limits, while 113 callers (16 percent) disagreed.

For the House of Representatives, restrictions were favored by 544 of 671 callers (81 percent) and disapproved by 127 (18 percent).

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
