Patrick M. McNutt, son of Army Chief Warrant Officer Jack L. and Sara M. McNutt, has been commissioned a second lieutenant through the Air Force ROTC program and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.

McNutt is a 1987 graduate of Meade Senior High School in Fort Meade.

MEZZANOTTE GRADUATES

Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Paul A. Mezzanotte, son of Beverly L. Mezzanotte and Dennis A. Mezzanotte, both of Linthicum Heights, has graduated from the aircraft pneudraulic systems course at Chanute A.F.B. in Rantoul, Ill.

Mezzanotte is a 1986 graduate of Andover Senior High School.

CURREY FINISHES BASIC

Airman Scott B. Currey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Currey of Pasadena, has graduated fromAir Force basic training at Lackland A.F.B., Texas.

Currey is a 1985 graduate of Hereford High School.

Marine Pfc. Mark A. May, a 1985 graduate of Arundel High School, recently completed the Administrative Clerk Course at Marine CorpsBase, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

May joined the Marine Corps last November.

COKER BACK FROM MIDEAST

Navy Ensign Thomas E. Coker, son of Janie H. Coker of Annapolis, recently returned from deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Desert Storm.

A 1989 graduate ofthe U.S. Naval Academy, he joined the Navy in July 1985.

CARRIGAN EARNS DEGREE

Sgt. David M. Carrigan, son of Maurice D. and Arlene Carrigan of Pasadena, has earned an associate degree in applied sciencethrough the Community College of the Air Force.

Carrigan is a 1989 graduate of Chesapeake High School.

PETERSON FINISHES COURSE

Airman 1st Class George D. Peterson Jr., son of George D. and Jeanette L. Peterson of Annapolis, has graduated from the communications-computer systems operations specialist course at Keesler A.F.B. in Biloxi, Miss.

Peterson is a 1984 graduate of Annapolis Senior High School and a 1989 graduate of Bowie State University.

ORBAN GETS SILVER WINGS

Second Lt. Joel A. Orban, son of Daniel E. and Veronica C. Orbanof Gambrills, has received silver wings upon graduation from pilot training at Williams A.F.B. in Chandler, Ariz.

Orban is a 1986 graduate of Bowie High School and a 1990 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

GINGRICH FINISHES TRAINING

CoastGuard Seaman Recruit Matthew S. Gingrich, a 1988 graduate of Old Mill High School, has graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center at Cape May, N.J.

Gingrich joined the Coast Guard in July.

SCHULZE GRADUATES

Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice William L. Schulze, son of Michael R. and Deborah S. Schulze of Pasadena, has graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center at Cape May, N.J.

A 1991 graduate of Northeast Senior High School, he joined the Coast Guard in July.

FERER FINISHES COURSE

Airman Russell S. Ferer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Ferer of Harwood, has graduated from the aerospace ground equipment mechanic course at Chanute A.F.B. in Rantoul, Ill.

Ferer is a 1989 graduate of South River High School.

KRATT GETSSILVER WINGS

Second Lt. John C. Kratt, son of Catherine O. Kratt of Arnold, has received silver wings upon graduation from pilot training at Williams A.F.B. in Chandler, Ariz.

Kratt is a 1986 graduateof Broadneck High School and a 1990 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

WEST PT. ACCEPTS TAYLOR

Army Cadet William C. Taylor, son of William C. and Teresa L. Taylor of Gambrills, has been accepted into the Corps of Cadets, U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

HONG DECORATED

Airman 1st Class Joseph K. Hong, son of Peter J. and Sarah Y. Hong of Glen Burnie, has been decorated with the Air Force Achievement Medal.

A 1988 graduate of Old Mill Senior High School, Hong is a services specialist at Hahn A.F.B. in Germany.

WAGNER MAKES PFC.

Christopher M. Wagner, son of WilliamD. and Nancy J. Wagner of Millersville, has been promoted in the Army to the rank of private first class.

A 1989 graduate of Old Mill Senior High School, Wagner is a watercraft operator at Fort Eustis, Va.

YOUNG RECEIVES MEDAL

Sgt. Randall K. Young, son of William H. and Pansy R. Young of Pasadena, has been decorated with the Army Achievement Medal.

A 1983 graduate of Chesapeake High School, Young is a Teletype equipment mechanic at Sullivan Barracks in Germany.

WEST PT. ACCEPTS CAPRA

Army Cadet Kevin S. Capra, son of Robert A. Capraof Annapolis and Mary Anne Capra of Montclair, N.J., has been accepted into the Corps of Cadets, U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

Capra is a 1991 graduate of Montclair High School.

HAYWARD MAKES AIRMAN

Mickey J. Hayward Jr., son of Linda J. and Mickey J. Haywardof Fort Meade, has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of airman.

Hayward is an air-traffic control operator at Loring A.F.B. in Maine.

FRYE DEPLOYED IN S. KOREA

Army Pvt. Steven W. Frye, son of Michael W. and Patricia J. Frye of Pasadena, has arrived for duty at Camp Hialeah, Pusan, South Korea.

Frye, a 1987 graduate of Chesapeake High School, is a field communications equipment mechanic.

PEARSON ARRIVES IN CALIF.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Calvin L. Pearson Jr., son of Gladys A. Pearson and Calvin L. Pearson Sr., both of Glen Burnie, has arrived for duty at March A.F.B. in California.
