Sleepy Havre de Grace jolted awake to big-city crime by sisters' slayings

HAVRE DE GRACE -- As police searched yesterday for leads in the fatal shooting of two elderly sisters during a robbery at their family-operated sporting goods store, residents here shook their heads in shock and disgust. Big-city crime had, for the third time in five years, invaded their small town.

The card read, "In sympathy -- Vicki, Vanessa and DeAnna."
