Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Lionel Richardson, of the 4000 block of Elderon Ave., reported he was in the 5200 block of Reisterstown Road early yesterday when he was attacked by two men who struck him over the head several times and robbed him of his jacket and $50.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police reported that Margaret Harmon, of the 3700 block of Clarks Lane, was walking near her home yesterday evening when a man approached her from behind, shoved her to the pavement and stole her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at about $10.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Two residents of an apartment building in the 2800 block of Norfolk Ave. reported that someone broke into their apartments yesterday afternoon and stole property having a total value of more than $300. Police said entry into both apartments was through a back door. From one apartment, police said the intruder stole stereo equipment, cassette tapes and clothing, all valued at $230. From the other, the intruder stole a .32- caliber revolver valued at $110.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police responding to a burglary in progress early yesterday at Greenmount Loan & Jewelry Co., a pawn shop in the 3100 block of Greenmount Ave., entered the building and arrested a man who broke in through a window. Police said nothing was taken and that the suspect was being held at the station pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- John Coleman, 34, of the 4600 block of Pimlico Road, reported he was walking in the 3000 block of Dupont Ave. yesterday when a man known to him displayed a handgun and demanded money. Police said Coleman gave $100 to the gunman, who escaped on foot.

DRIVE-BY SHOOTING: Northern District -- Police reported that Shawn Ramser, 21, of the 3900 block of Frisby St., was walking in the 700 block of McCabe Ave. shortly after 1 a.m. yesterday when he was shot by the occupant of a Pontiac that drove past him. Following the shooting, the car sped off. Police said Ramser was hit in the upper right leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said they had no motive for the shooting.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Dana Fuqua, 23, of the 3900 block of Keswick Road, told police she was walking in the 2700 block of St. Paul St. around 10 a.m. yesterday when she was stopped by a man who demanded her money and jewelry. Police said Fuqua complied, giving the unarmed man cash and property, all valued at $600.

THEFT: Northern District -- Narriman Alif, of the 800 block of St. Dunstans Road, told police that someone entered her car while it was parked in front of her home shortly before 8 p.m. yesterday and stole her purse containing cash and other property, all valued at more than $300.

STABBING/ARREST: Western District -- Antonio Wilson, of the 2600 block of W. Franklin St., reported that during an incident near his home yesterday morning, he was attacked by a man armed with a knife who stabbed him in the left shoulder and lower back. Police said Wilson was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment and was listed today in serious condition. Later, police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending aggravated assault and deadly weapon charges.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- A resident of the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave. reported that someone broke into her home through a fire escape and attempted to steal her property. Police said a suspect was later arrested in connection with the break-in and was being held at the station pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

THEFT: Western District -- Employees of Atlantic Telco Inc., a communications firm in Baltimore, reported that someone stole one of the firm's pay telephones from its stand in the 1100 block of N. Monroe St. Police said the telephone was valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Stricker St. reported that someone broke into her home yesterday afternoon and stole property valued at more than $4,000. Police said entry was gained through a side window and that the intruder took two TVs, a radio, VCR, microwave oven, jewelry, several pieces of clothing and cash.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Joshua Middleton, of the first block of S. Bernice Ave., reported he was walking in the first block of S. Hilton St. yesterday evening when he was attacked by a man who struck him several times and demanded his money. Police said the man robbed Middleton of less than $20 and escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police reported that Jerry Gross, of the 1100 block of E. Madison St., was in the 5000 block of Frederick Road yesterday afternoon when he was approached by a man with a handgun who demanded his money. Police said Gross gave the gunman $100.
