Man From Dundalk Is Robbed Of $5

A Dundalk man was robbed of $5 Tuesday night as he was walking down a Glen Burnie street, county police reported.

Police said the victim was walking on Mary Lane about 8:50 p.m. when four men walked up to him and demanded money. One of the men threatened him with a handgun.

After the man gave the robbers his money, they ran toward Harundale Mall.

DRIVER ALLEGEDLY TRIES TO RUN DOWN OFFICER

A county police officer narrowly escaped injury when a driver reportedly tried to run him down Tuesday night, police said.

According to the police report, Officer Joseph Larkin was on patrol at 1:30 a.m. on Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie when he saw a car driving recklessly.

The car stopped and two men got out. When the men saw Larkin walking towardthem, they got back into their car and tried to run him down, policesaid.

Police arrested Joseph David Brewer, 20, of the 5000 block of Brookwood Road in Brooklyn Park, and charged him with assault withintent to murder.
