Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- James Jordan Jr., 26, of the 3400 block of Vargis Circle in the Woodlawn section of Baltimore County, reported he was in the 200 block of Aisquith St. when he was accosted by a man with a .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun who demanded his money. Police said after the gunman robbed Jordan of his car, he also robbed him of his keys. Police said the gunman then got into Jordan's 1990 Chevrolet that was parked nearby and drove off. Police said the total value of the property, including the car, was more than $17,000. The car, bearing license plates SRN-502, has not been found, police said.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Employees of Schaefer & Strominger Inc., an auto dealer in the 500 block of Dundalk Ave., reported that someone broke into the office and stole the keys to a 1992 Toyota. Police said efforts to drive the car off the lot failed and that the burglar left without taking any property.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a construction trailer owned by Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. that was parked in the 1700 block of E. Monument St. and stole walkie-talkies and other equipment. Police said the property was valued at more than $10,000 and that entry was gained by breaking a window.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Linda Furst, 41, of the first block of N. Madeira St., reported she was walking in the 4200 block of Eastern Ave. when she was assaulted by a teen-ager who shoved her to the pavement and stole her purse. Police said the youth escaped with cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that three men, one with a handgun, accosted Trinda Dunifer, 30, of the 400 block of N. Chester St., as she walked in the 200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Beverly Walker, 31, of the 400 block of N. Chester St., reported she was robbed of her black leather coat when accosted by a man near her home. Walker told police the coat was valued at more than $250.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Melvin Hill, of the 1700 block of Montpelier St., reported he was in the 1400 block of Gorsuch Ave. Monday night when he was accosted by a man who robbed him of his money and jacket, all valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Belair Road reported that someone broke into his home by forcing open the front door and stole a VCR, cash and cassette tapes. Police said the property was valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said property valued at $300 was stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Dudley Ave. after someone entered by breaking a pane of glass out of a rear door. Police said the intruder made off with a VCR and that the break-in occurred yesterday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Victor Nwaorgu, of the 4400 block of Marble Hall Road, told police he was walking near his home yesterday evening when he was assaulted by four men in their 20s who struck him with their fists and robbed him of his money. Nwaorgu told police that one of the men had a handgun and that he recognized at least one of them as a man who lives near him.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- An employee of a Sudsville Laundries Inc. outlet in the 6000 block of Moravia Park Drive reported that someone entered the store yesterday afternoon and removed more than $100 in cash and coins from her jacket.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police today were seeking two men who robbed Shawn Jones, of the 600 block of E. 41st St., of a pack of cigarettes Monday night outside a house in the 500 block of E. 43rd St., then forced him into the house where they robbed five other men of their cash, jewelry and other property at gunpoint. Police said the gunman and his accomplice robbed one man of cash and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,000, and four other men of property and cash, all worth nearly $170.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 800 block of W. 33rd St. reported that someone broke into his house by opening a rear screen door and stole a multi-speed bike valued at $200.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police reported that a multi-speed racing bike valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from an apartment in the 200 block of E. University Parkway after someone entered by force.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said a radio and several credit cards were stolen yesterday after someone broke into a dwelling in the 200 block of Paddington Road. Police said the property was taken after someone forced open a basement door. Police said the property was valued at more than $100.

THEFT: Northern District -- Employees of Triple C Wholesale Confectioner in the 2700 block of Loch Raven Road reported that someone broke into the business yesterday evening and stole more than $750.
