Glee Club Sings On Abc

The U.S. Naval Academy Men's Glee Club is scheduled to perform on ABC-TV's "Good Morning America" at 8:45 a.m. Oct. 11.

The program will be aired locally on Baltimore's WJZ-TV (Channel 13) and Washington, D.C.'s WJLA-TV (Channel 7).

In a segment honoring the Navy's 216th birthday, the Glee Club will sing the Navy toast, "Tho' We Roam the Seas," "Anchors Aweigh," and and old sea chantey, "From Boston Harbor."

The appearance will be the third on the ABC program for the Glee Club, which appeared mostrecently last year.

The club consists of approximately 70 midshipmen and is directed by John B. Talley, director of musical activities.
