Dr. Andrew C.W. Montague, 58, a retired gynecologist, died Saturday of heart failure at his home on Midvale Road.
A memorial service for Dr. Montague will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles St.
He was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Johns Hopkins Medical School and retired from practice in June.
He had been working on the Rhogam drug treatment to prevent blood incompatibility reactions in Rh factor disease.
Andrew Colonna Walewski Montague was born in Warsaw, Poland, and reared in Geneva.
A 1953 graduate of Johns Hopkins University, he was a 1958 graduate of its medical school.
Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Ellen Kelley; a daughter, Elizabeth Montague Cochran of Baltimore; two sons, Gregory E. Montague of St. Mary's City and Albert A. Montague of Michigan; and a twin brother, Dr. Albert Colonna Walewski Montague of Baltimore.
