Baltimore City

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police said Nathaniel Little, 42, of the 2600 block of Robb St., was walking in the 1400 block of Exeter Hall Ave. early yesterday when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who had been following him and demanded his money and property. Police said the men robbed Little of his wallet and the nylon shoulder bag he was carrying. Following the robbery, police said Little followed the two men to find out where they were going when one of them turned around and fired a shot at him. Police said the bullet missed Little. Police said the robbers escaped with cash and property, all valued at $50.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Myung Chun, of the 6900 block of Marbury Road, told police she was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 900 block of Gorsuch Ave. around 9 p.m. yesterday when two men stopped and demanded her purse. Police said while one of the men threatened Chun, the other grabbed the purse from her hands. Police said the men escaped with cash, personal items and airline tickets to New York. Police said the cash and property was valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Pentridge Road reported that someone broke into his home between Monday night and early yesterday and stole stereo equipment valued at $800. Police said entry was gained through a basement window.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said property valued at nearly $500 was stolen from a dwelling in the 4200 block of Clareway after someone gained entry through a back door. Police said the burglar escaped with a TV, a radio and a shotgun.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police said someone broke into a dwelling in the 6200 block of Old Harford Road and stole property valued at nearly $5,000. Police said entry was gained by forcing a door and that the intruder stole a camera, jewelry and silverware.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Brad Callahan, of the 4200 block of Harford Terrace, reported someone removed two multi-speed bikes from under his front porch. Callahan told police the theft occurred earlier this month and that the mountain bikes were valued at $1,000.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking two men who allegedly stole more than $900 in cash from their landlady while they were moving out yesterday. Police said Emma J. Herbert, of the 1300 block of Sherwood Ave., discovered that $924 she kept in a shoebox was missing after the tenants moved out.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4900 block of Hamilton Ave. reported that someone broke into his home after climbing through a window off the front porch and stole a VCR. Police said the property was valued at $500 and that the break-in occurred between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Old York Road reported that someone broke into her home earlier this month and stole property valued at nearly $900. Police said entry was gained through a back door and that the intruder escaped with two VCRs, a 19-inch TV and several VCR tapes.

THEFT: Northern District -- Patricia Pearce, a student at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St., reported that someone stole her gym bag while she was on school property yesterday. Pearce told police the bag contained property valued at nearly $400.

THEFT: Northern District -- Chad Gillenwater, an out-of-town resident, reported that while his 1988 Lincoln Continental was parked in the 2900 block of St. Paul St. over the weekend, someone broke into the vehicle by unlocking a door through a partially open window and stole a briefcase, a pen and pencil set, a calculator and other property. Police said the items were valued at more than $900.

THEFT: Northern District -- Frank Yannone, of the 2600 block of St. Paul St., reported property valued at $200 was stolen from his Nissan while it was parked near his home yesterday. Police said the thief made off with several hand and power tools and that entry was gained by forcing a door open.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police reported that someone entered a locker inside a building at Johns Hopkins University in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. and stole property valued at nearly $200. The victim, Jonathan Brown, of the 2800 block of Belmont Ave., told police the thief stole a jacket, a wallet and $25 in cash.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- James Johnson, of the 400 block of E. 27th St., reported that during an incident near his home around 9 p.m. yesterday, he was attacked by two men who struck him with baseball bats. Police said the two men fled the scene and that Johnson was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries to his right arm and ribs.
