Louise Crabtree LeGeer, at 66

Louise Crabtree LeGeer, a former employee at the Western Electric Co. plant on Broening Highway in Baltimore, died Sunday at her home in Cumberland. She was 66.

Funeral services for Mrs. LeGeer will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Scarpelli funeral establishment, 108 Virginia Ave. in Cumberland.

Burial will be at the Mount Hebron Cemetery in Cumberland.

The former Louise Crabtree was born in Cumberland and moved to Baltimore several years later.

Before moving back to Cumberland, Mrs. LeGeer worked at the Western Electric plant on Broening Highway for several years.

After returning to Cumberland, she was employed by the Celeanese Corp. from which she retired.

For most of her life, Mrs. LeGeer was an active member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, taking a major role in its activities in the community.

Besides her husband, Lue LeGeer, she is survived by five daughters; Nancy Yoos, Wanda LeGeer, Donna Sterry, Jo Ann Bajkowski and Judy Cobb, all of Baltimore; two brothers, Paul Crabtree of Cumberland and James Crabtree of Greensburg, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
