Services for Anne Matters Thompson of Davidsonville, a food clerk atGiant Food in Glen Burnie, will be held at 9 a.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 West Central Ave. in Davidsonville.

Ms. Thompson, 28, died of a brain tumor Friday at her home.

She was a graduate of Old Mill High School and the International Culinary Arts Institute.

Ms. Thompson was a member of a cancer support group in Severna Park, the Cancer Busters, and of the Holy Family church.

Her survivors include her son; Trevor Thompson, and her parents, Harold Paul and Margaret Clemmer Matters, all of Davidsonville; four brothers, Stephen R. Matters of Millersville, James R. Matters of Ridgely, John H. Matters of Quincy, Mass., and Thomas W. Matters of Manassas, Va.; a sister, Margaret Matters Love of Millersville; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Poiter Matters of Millersville and Elizabeth Mercer Matters of Manassas; a brother-in-law, David Love of Millersville; three nieces and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center, 550 North Broadway, Suite 801, Baltimore 21025.
