Diamond Duo and Romantic Summer rallied late to combine for the "Five-and-Dime" exacta in the $16,500 feature at Pimlico Race Course yesterday.

Diamond Duo (No. 5), ridden by Tommy Turner, stalked the pace from the rail before angling out for a winning drive. The filly reached the wire a half-length in front of Romantic Summer (No. 10), marking her second straight victory.

Star Minister, the 3-2 favorite in a field of 10, wrested the lead in mid-stretch from Fool's Love and drew off, but the top two rolled past her in the sixteenth pole.

Diamond Duo, a 10-1 shot, topped a 5-10 exacta worth $198.40.

Jockey Joe Rocco and trainer Frannie Campitelli each had two winners on the 10-race card.
