Private schools

It's your call

October 04, 1991

By a ratio of 55 percent to 44 percent, respondents to SUNDIAL say state colleges and universities should not convert to private schools, with a consequent decrease in state aid and an increase in student tuition. The count was 180 against conversion and 143 for conversion, out of 323 callers.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
