Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1100 block of E. 36th St. reported that someone broke into his home between Sept. 27 and Sept. 30 and stole a brass floor lamp and a VCR. Police said the property was valued at $800.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Darik Ellis, of the 4000 block of Lyndale Ave., told police that someone entered his back yard Monday night and stole 28 homing pigeons from their coop. Ellis told police the pigeons were valued at nearly $430.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- James Newbauer, of the 5300 block of Tramore Road, reported he was in the 5400 block of Harford Road late Monday night when he was accosted by two men, both with handguns, who robbed him of $35 and a set of keys.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a car owned by William Smith, of the 3300 block of Kentucky Ave., while it was parked near his home and stole hand and power tools valued at $400. Police said the thief broke one of the car's windows.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking an employee of Sam's Tire and Auto Service Center in the 6200 block of Belair Road in connection with the theft of more than $100 from the office. Police said a key was used to enter the office.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a garage in the 5300 block of Tramore Road and stole a 1974 Yamaha motorcycle valued at $800.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Alvarado Square reported that someone entered the back yard of his home and stole property valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Leonard Southerland, of the 5600 block of Sinclair Lane, told police that someone broke into his 1984 Dodge while it was parked near his home between Sept. 30 and yesterday and stole a radar detector, head phones, a jacket and an equalizer. Police said the property was valued at nearly $300. Police said entry was gained by breaking a window.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Tacina Raesmith, of the 5400 block of Purlington Way, reported she was in the 5800 block of Bellona Ave. when she was approached from behind by a man who stole her purse. Raesmith told police the purse contained cash and property, all valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Northern District -- Wei-yu Lee, of the 900 block of Circle Drive in the Arbutus section of Baltimore County, told police that while his car was parked in the 3100 block of St. Paul St. Monday afternoon someone broke into the vehicle and stole a cellular phone valued at $500.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of St. Paul St. reported that someone broke into his home Monday and stole two VCRs and an electric iron. Police said the property was valued at more than $500.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Ryan Blake, of the 900 block of Argonne Drive, reported he was in the 900 block of Cator Ave. Monday night when he was stopped by two men, one with a handgun, who robbed him of $2 and his leather jacket. Police said the total value of the property was more than $150.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- George Zervos, of the 4100 block of Massachusetts Ave., reported he was in the 200 block of Collins Ave. when he was accosted by a man with a handgun who threatened him and forced him to turn over his money. Police said the gunman and his accomplice escaped with $26.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police reported that Lawrence Dellor, of the 3800 block of Songbird Circle in the Baltimore Highlands section of southwest Baltimore County, was listed in good condition today at St. Agnes Hospital after he was shot in the back during an incident in the 4300 block of Parkton St. Police said the gunman fled after shooting Dellor and that a motive was not known.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of W. North Ave. reported he was robbed by two men, one with a handgun, as he walked in the 2900 block of W. North Ave. The victim, Brian Johnson, told police the men threatened to kill him if he didn't hand over his property. Police said Johnson complied, giving the gunman and his accomplice more than $1,000 worth of jewelry.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Employees of Polock Johnny's restaurant in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road told police that someone entered the business over the weekend and stole nearly $50 from a secured location. Police said the lack of any sign of forced entry indicated that the thief may have entered with a key.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Gwendolynn Morse, of the 3900 block of Bateman Ave., told police she was walking in the 2900 block of Allendale Road Monday when she was accosted by a man with a knife who forced her to give up her purse. Police said the man escaped with cash and property, all valued at about $60.
