New positions

Maryland School for the Blind, a private, non-profit, state-aided residential school in Northeast Baltimore, announced the following appointments: Dr. Richard M. DeMott, deputy superintendent; Maynard Simmons, director of the newcomer/Andrews Program; Donald Ouimet, principal of secondary/vocational education; Barbria Bacon, principal of preschool/elementary education; David L. Evans, chief financial officer; Ann M. Poskocil, chief development officer.

Maryland Tire Co., a Baltimore subsidiary of Kimmel Automotive Inc., named M. Glenn Clark Sr. president.

jTC University of Maryland at Baltimore named Carol M. Boyer assistant to the president.

Druid Hill Family YMCA in Baltimore appointed Paul L. Stoney executive director.

Stegman & Co., an accounting and management consulting firm in Baltimore, Columbia, Greenbelt and Towson, named Yolanda Bruno marketing coordinator.

Coyne & McClean, an accounting and management consulting firm in Baltimore, named Michael M. Gajewski to the audit and accounting staff.

Plotkin, Sack and Karlen, a psychology firm in Pikesville, named Amy L. Karlen partner.

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore named Dr. Marvin Lynn Swanson director of the IVF/GIFT Fertility Program and Dr. James W. Karesh a member of The Kreiger Eye Institute.
