County police have charged an Ellicott City teen-ager with five counts of being an accessory to armed robbery in connection with a seriesof recent hold-ups, a police spokesman said.
Jennifer Williams, 17, of the 10000 block of Green Clover Drive, was charged as an adult with being an accomplice to the five robberies, which occurred between July 23 and Sept. 10, said Sgt. Gary L. Gardner. Police charged herTuesday.
Two men, Kenneth Ray Perkins, 20, of the 1800 block of Morrell Park Road in Baltimore, and Nicholas Alexander Vennari, 17, of the 3200block of Six Pence Circle in Columbia, were arrested earlier this month and charged with committing the robberies.
The robberies occurred at several county businesses, where two men reportedly threatenedemployees with a gun, police said.
A tip from a citizen led police to the suspects, Gardner said.
Williams is suspected of being the driver in at least one of the robberies, Gardner said.
MAN EXPOSES HIMSELF TO 8-YEAR-OLD
A man wearing no pants indecently exposed himself Monday in Elkridge to an 8-year-old girl, whom he beckoned to his car under the pretense of asking for directions, county police said.
The child reported that the man, in his late 20s, was parked along the 6300 block of Ducketts Lane when he asked her for directions shortly before 3 p.m., police said.
When the girl approached the car, she noticed that the man was naked from the waist down, police said. She then ran away and the man did not try to pursue her.
Police said the suspect, a white male with black curly hair, was reported driving a small blue foreign car.
